Martin Mobility provides home modifications in the central Texas area. We are a licensed, insured and bonded business that is A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). 512-476-0500 in Austin or 512-863-2929 for Georgetown
We are listed as a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) home modification contractor. Veterans may be able to get financial assistance from the VA through grants and loans. You should contact your local VA facility for these programs. If you already have your paperwork for a Hisa grant or other VA funding program, call us at 512-476-0500 and our home modification experts will get to work. The first step is for us to do a home evaluation and provide you with a bid for the work. There is no charge for this and we will make the process easy for you - we work with the VA regularly.
We build and install to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) specifications where appropriate and we must for public and commercial buildings. For homeowners, the ADA standards do not always meet the individuals requirements and are not mandated. We can custom build and install products that will work the best for you whether they are ADA standards or custom built for your needs..
Here are some of the modifications we make and for you to consider:
Doors, Entryways, Yard, Decks
Martin Mobility offers ramps, widened doorways, stair lifts, platform lifts, and other options to get you in and around your home. We offer stairlifts with flip down seats or even inclined platform stair lifts that will take you and your wheelchair or powerchair up the stairs. Vertical platform lifts lift straight up and are used to get up to decks or higher elevations in your home or yard.
Commercial and Public Buildings
Martin Mobility designs and installs modifications that are ADA compliant for commercial buildings, restaurants, offices, churches, schools, libraries, museums, and community centers to allow easy access and usability for those with mobility limitations. We can help you identify possible zoning, code, condition and maintenance issues that could affect the design and installation process. Call us before your start a project if you have concerns about ADA compliance - 512-476-0500.
